Professor Jo Cullinane

Professor Jo Cullinane

Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor

Jo鈥檚 academic background is in strategic management and human resource management. She joined 萝莉社 University as Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor in August 2017, having previously worked in roles in the UK such as Academic Dean at Coventry University in London and Director of Learning and Teaching in the Business Faculty, University of Greenwich.

Associate Professor Claire Matthews

Associate Professor Claire Matthews

Acting Head, School of Accountancy

Claire became Acting Head for the School of Accountancy in 2024, having been Associate Dean Academic Quality since 2014 after teaching banking and financial advice. A recognised expert on banking and personal finance, her research interests are consumers鈥 financial behaviour, decisions and attitudes, with a focus on payments, financial capability, retirement planning and KiwiSaver.

Chief Executive Officer, School of Aviation

Ashok has been a training captain with Indian Airlines and Gulf Air and has over 12,500 hours of airline jet flying experience. He has held corporate positions with IATA and Gulf Air and is a frequent international presenter and consultant.

Head, School of Communication, Journalism and Marketing

Stephen was listed in the top 1 per cent of all communication scholars globally from 2012鈥2016. An award-winning and widely published scholar, his research expertise is in immigrant cultural adaptation, religion and communication, statistics, and conflict.

Professor Sasha Molchanov

Professor Sasha Molchanov

Acting Head, School of Economics and Finance

Sasha became the Acting Head of School of Economics and Finance after serving six years as an Associate Head of School. His research interests are in the fields of investments, international finance, econometrics, politics, and market design. Sasha is a faculty mentor of the Student Investment Club

Head, School of Management

Jo became the Head of School for the School of Management in 2019, after five years as Associate Head of School. Her academic background is in human resource management, tourism and entrepreneurship. She maintains research interests in entrepreneurship and innovation, agribusiness and family business, along with women and work.

Professor Matt Roskruge

Associate Dean 鈥 M膩ori

Matthew Roskruge (Te Atiawa, Ng膩ti Tama) is a Rutherford Discovery Fellow, Director of , Associate Dean M膩ori and Professor in the School of Economics and Finance.

He has an academic background in health and population economics, and researches as an applied economist and social scientist.

Jens has been a CEO and Director in global firms, including more than 9 years as Board Director for the $1+ Billion PHARMAC Crown entity, an advisor to Governments and corporate leaders and is also a Licensed Immigration Adviser.

Professor Liping Zou

Professor Liping Zou

Vice Dean of 萝莉社 Institute at NUFE (MIAN)

Liping is the Vice Dean of 萝莉社 Institute at NUFE (MIAN) and a Professor in Finance at the School of Economics and Finance. Liping has an academic background and qualification in accountancy, computer science, and finance. Her research focuses on corporate finance, portfolio management and strategy, corporate governance, and machine learning in finance.

Jeff has transitioned through both business and academia. Before joining 萝莉社 in 2004, his 25-year business career primarily involved launching innovative startups, giving him extensive experience in business development and financial management. Jeff holds degrees in Economics, an MBA, a PhD in investments, and is a CFA.

Rebecca鈥檚 extensive tertiary sector management experience spans nearly 20 years across business schools in both New Zealand and Australia. She has previously held Research Manager and Client Service Manager positions prior to commencing as College Executive Manager in 2024.

Associate Professor, School of Management

Dr David Brougham is an Associate Professor at 萝莉社 Business School. David is researching how employees and businesses plan to adapt to changes as a result of technological disruption from AI, automation, robotics, etc. David is the Editor for the New Zealand Journal of Human Resources Management.
